Maybe this will help you see everyone's point on here raider13...First of all the playoff was done to seed JIB, PV, and JJK so that playoff was as important as the regular season in that it contributed to the final seed for each team. Now...did you guys want to win the playoff? Did your coach want to win the playoff? Did you guys prepare for the playoff? Granted, your answer to each of those questions is "yes",..but JJK and PV wanted and did the same thing. So, apparently PV was better prepared (which reflects the coach) and wanted it more than either of the other teams (which reflects the team). And, given that PV had a better record vs. the top half of the LPD (eventhough LPD b-ball is weak) they on paper and on the court show to be the better team. To the winner goes the spoils...and there are no excuses or downplaying the importance of the playoff. Really, you have no argument.

PV was not a Co-Champ/Champ in 05. GC beat us, and beat us badly.

but in 04 there was a play off.

Sadly, yes...not that it matters...just a good debate..lol

It was in 05, and yea we had to win one of 3 games to make the regional tournament. Gate City beat us back to back nights and then about a week later Pound beat us.

Fleming hit the three, Pounds only three of the game. Early in that season you rushed the floor after a GC win and mauled our coach if I remember correctly. Still one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

yeah, i avoid most high school functions now, i really embarrassed myself sometimes haha
